To succeed in whatever you want to do, you need discipline, perseverance, consistency, and many other qualities. It requires building a winning attitude and a lot of it is in your head. How can we not let ourselves be shaken by all our doubts, discouragements, impatience and other limitations? The mindset is what will make the difference on the way to success.
For the past few days, I've been sharing daily on social media some thoughts to help my subscribers work on their mindset to unlock their potential. This is the first time I've done this over a full week and I plan to do more. If you're one of those who didn't follow it, I'm doing a recap of the content of each day here. So here's what to take away from the 7 Days of Mindset shift Challenge.
1. Do not be afraid to fail
Are you afraid to fail?
When we decide to undertake something, we always run the risk of making mistakes, of losing, of encountering obstacles. But when we have made the decision to dare to undertake something, we must consider that everything that comes our way will build us up. It is by daring to leave our comfort zone that we develop and learn. If the fear of failing prevents you from starting or continuing, repeat this affirmation to yourself: "I don't fail, I learn".
"If you're not failing every now and again, it's a sign you're not doing anything very innovative."
Woody Allen
2. Keep up your courage
Do you feel like giving up right now?
Faced with adversity, challenges, difficulty in obtaining expected results, setbacks, we get tired and want to give up. If you can't take it anymore, it's better to take a break than to give up. Take your mind off it and come back to reconsider it. Don't give up because you may be close to succeeding.
"You never fail until you stop trying."
Albert Einstein
3. Find time for yourself
Have you ever thought about getting up earlier to do the things you don't have time to do during the day?
I'm sure there are times when you feel like there aren't enough hours in the day to do everything you want to do. If you have trouble finding time every day to take care of yourself because of all your obligations, you could get up a little earlier in the morning. By waking up an hour earlier, for example, you will be able to free up some time for yourself (working out, reading, meditating, journaling ...) before you get pulled into the whirlwind of your day. Getting up early takes effort, but it's an effective way to create extra time for yourself. If you're not really a morning person, give yourself that time at a more convenient time when you won't be disturbed.
There is enough time for self-care. There is not enough time to make up for the life you'll miss by not filling yourself up.”
Jennifer Williamson
4. Declutter your life
Do you keep in your life things which don't serve you anymore?
There are times when we must take the trouble to question what surrounds us (objects, people or situations). We are sometimes so used to our environment that we accept what is there, whether it is good or bad. Anything that harms you, is useless, does not bring you satisfaction, drains you and so on, does not help your cause. Be discerning and clean up your life. Don't let anything in that is detrimental to you. Set limits to everything that is detrimental to your well-being and seek positivity.
"Respect yourself enough to walk away from anyone or anything that no longer serves you, grows you or makes you happy."
5. Have a vision
Do you have a vision board to help you in your journey?
One of the first steps in achieving your goals is to have a vision of your future. You need to see the person you want to become, the areas of life you want to transform, the acquisitions you want to make, the abundance you want to obtain, the projects you would like to implement. The mental vision is good but not enough, it is useful to put it on paper or digital document. The creation of a vision board allows you to reflect more deeply on your ideal and to clarify your vision. With a material version of your vision, you will have the possibility to put your aspirations in view on a wall, a desktop wallpaper or a bulletin board in order not to lose the course. So visualize what you want to manifest in your life and believe that you can do it.
“Your vision will become clear only when you can look into your heart. Who looks outside, dreams; who looks inside, awakens.”
Carl Jung
6. Trust the process
Do you often find yourself worrying about what you want to achieve?
Sometimes we don't know exactly how we will get there, but by looking for solutions and trying things out, we make our way over time. It is a process in several steps or phases that makes us progress towards our goal. So, it is important to accept that it's part of the journey and to trust the process. Worrying won't make you go any faster, but rather will cause you unnecessary worry. Hold on and tell yourself you'll get there.
"If you really want to do something you'll find a way. If you don't, you'll find an excuse."
Jim Rohn
7. Have confidence in yourself
Do you feel like you're not good enough?
When we face a challenge, our inner critic can make us believe that we are not up to it, that we are not good enough. Believe in yourself, trust yourself, know that you have the capacity to adapt, to learn, to surpass yourself, to surprise yourself. Get rid of the impostor syndrome and repeat to yourself: "I am good enough and I am an achiever".
"Where there is inner strength and self-confidence, distrust, fear and doubt disappear."

Love this post. I have recently been working on my mindset and growth. This is a great reminder. Thank you for sharing.
This is a great reminder! Something that has really been resonating with me this year is your point "do not be afraid to fail". Life is to short to let fear get in the way of your dreams or trying something new.
I'm currently battling my fear of failure. Not sure how it's going to play out but I'll keep going...
Great tips! We definitely need to work on ourselves and build the confidence.
I have a fear of not being good enough, rather than failing. And with the stuff I want to achieve at the moment, it's the knowledge of not knowing what I need to know to make it happen, which just stops me dead in my
