The Dazzling Blogger Award

Updated: Jan 14, 2022

This award is a recognition of bloggers by their peers to acknowledge their excellent blogging skills. I am grateful to have been nominated and to be part of this great initiative. Read my answers to the questions I was asked, find out the 7 new questions I have for my fellow bloggers, and learn who are the 7 bloggers I chose to nominate.

The Dazzling Blogger Award

I've been blessed to be nominated for the Dazzling Blogger Award by Metaphysical Mama and I'm very thankful. I always learn a lot from reading her posts and I recommend you to visit her blog to be educated about spirituality, to reconnect with yourself and to improve your wellbeing.

The Official Rules

  1. Thank the person who nominated you for The Dazzling Blogger Award.

  2. Link back to the original blog post.

  3. Answer the seven questions that they asked on their blog post.

  4. Make up seven new questions.

  5. Nominate seven more people for The Dazzling Blogger Award, who you think exemplifies excellent blogging skills.

My Answers

1. What is something that you started doing during the pandemic that you would like to continue to do once things get back to normal?

I started working out online, which allowed me to join remote sessions that I would not have been able to attend under normal circumstances because the instructor is based in a different city than me. I plan to continue because I like the energy of the group and the coach and it has helped me break the isolation during lockdown.

2. Where do you see yourself five years from now?

I am open to life's surprises. If I look back on the last 20 years of my life, I see that I never end up where I thought I would be in a 5 year projection, even if I took action through a plan. Life has a way of taking you where you don't even think about. So, today I am rather flexible and I can appreciate what is offered to me in my life path. I know that in 5 years, I will be where I am supposed to be at this specific stage of my existence.

3. What book changed your life and why?

There is no particular book that has changed my life. The biggest changes I've experienced came from life experiences, not from books. On the other hand, books or any other resources I have consulted have helped me to have a better understanding of things and to live the change with more ease. Maybe one day a book will be a turning point in my life, but for now, it hasn't happened yet.

4. What’s your favourite song?

I've been asked this question before and every time my answer is the same: I don't have any. It's true that I'm not a big music lover, but there are still a lot of songs that I like. It's just that there isn't one in particular that stands out for me.

5. What is the one thing you can do that always makes you feel great?

Be myself and stay true to myself no matter what. I always feel good when I stay aligned with who I am and with my values.

6. What’s your favourite thing about blogging?

Building connections with other bloggers. I feel that the blogging community is a positive space where we support each other. I like to read posts from other bloggers and interact with them.

7. What is your favourite thing about yourself?

My ability to let go. This is a skill I have developed in the last few years, because I wasn't always like this. Today, I am much better at recognizing when it's time to move on, while being at peace with that detachment.

My Questions

  1. What is the biggest life lesson you've learned so far?

  2. What having a good day looks like for you?

  3. If you were offered an all-expenses paid trip to the destination of your choice, where would you go and why?

  4. What is your favorite self-care routine?

  5. What are you good at intuitively?

  6. If you could go back in time and give an advise to your young self what would you say?

  7. What's the one thing you can't do without?

My Nominations

I read many blog posts and I'm delighted or moved by what the bloggers share. But since I have to make a selection of only 7 people for the sake of the cause, here are the 7 bloggers I chose to nominate for this award:
